Who We Are
Greater Works Church Birmingham is a Christ-centered, community-focused church dedicated to sharing the love of Jesus and making a lasting impact in the lives of individuals and families. We exist to create a welcoming environment where people can grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and discover their purpose through service and spiritual development.
Our Mission
To glorify God by loving, serving, and empowering our community through Christ-centered ministries and outreach. We demonstrate the love of God through compassion, accountability, and service. All are welcome to experience the teaching of Christ, the fellowship of one another, and the awesome experience of God in prayer, praise, and worship. Come as you are. Leave a changed person. You will never be the same.
Our Vision
Greater Works Church envisions a vibrant, faith-filled Birmingham where every individual experiences the life-changing power of Jesus Christ. Through worship, service, teaching, and outreach, we aim to strengthen families, grow disciples, and impact our community with compassion and purpose. We see a church where hearts are transformed, lives are uplifted, and the Spirit empowers all to make a lasting difference in the world around them. Christ is the head of the church. We are a branch of the body of Christ designed to fulfil the Great Commission: to preach and teach Jesus to the ends of the earth, to make disciples, and baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

Greater Works Church was founded with a vision to bring hope, healing, and transformation to Birmingham and beyond. What began as a passion to serve and uplift the community has grown into a ministry focused on outreach, discipleship, and empowering individuals to live out their faith daily. Through dedication, prayer, and service, we continue to expand our reach and impact lives for the glory of God.
